We love America. We believe in the greatness of our nation. Throughout history, countless men and women have laid down their lives for America. What did they see in this country that was worth sacrificing for? They saw a land of freedom. They saw a land of opportunity – a land to live, work, and worship according to the dictates of conscience. America was founded on the principles that make a nation great.

In 1854, American patriots formed the Republican Party to combat the institution of slavery. These patriots recognized that all men are created equal. They were prepared to hold the government accountable to America’s founding principles of equal justice under the law. As the Green County Republican Party, we continue to fight for America’s founding principles. Justice does not recognize class or creed; America is a land of equal opportunity for all.
We are the Party of Faith.
“God Governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid?” These timeless words of Benjamin Franklin hold true today – America cannot continue without God’s aid. America was founded on faith in God. Our Founding Fathers believed that God had given equal rights to all, and therefore no government could take those rights away. We believe America is one nation under God, and we will therefore always defend the right to worship God freely.
